Prayer offers a universal connection to the divine, accessible anywhere and anytime without rules or limitations, providing answers and clarity during challenging times.

• Prayer helps develop a deeper relationship with God and yourself
• Scientific studies show prayer can lower blood pressure and reduce stress
• Prayer provides direction and clarity by helping you find answers
• Freedom and belief prayers can transform your energy at a cellular level
• Current global challenges represent necessary growth before renewal
• When we pray, we raise our frequency and contribute to healing ourselves and the planet
• Prayer always receives a response, even if not in the expected form or timing

I share two powerful prayers from Reverend Tracy L. Clark's book "31 Days of Prayer and Affirmations": a Prayer for Freedom and a Prayer to Believe. These transformative words help release energetic constraints, forgive past harms, and open ourselves to unlimited possibilities and untold miracles. The affirmations that accompany each prayer anchor their messages into our cellular memory.

I carry my prayer books with me wherever I go because they provide comfort and inspiration. Speaker 1:

In today's episode, we're going to look at the universal power of prayer, and I want to dedicate this to all the mothers out there. Today is Mother's Day. Happy Mother's Day because God knows we pray, we pray a lot, we pray all the time. Pray for those beautiful beings of ours. So, yes, today, today's episode, the universal power of prayer. We'll look at the power of prayer, some benefits and how it can empower your day, your life. I'm even going to share a few powerful prayers from one of my favorite prayer books. Let's get started.

Speaker 1:

Speaker 1:

Reviews, ratings are always helpful. It helps the show and it really just warms my heart and, honestly, I'm just grateful. I'm grateful for you know, those of you that I've shared already. Thank you, and just the continued feedback helps, and it it just helps me to know. You know, am I alone out there? But I know I'm not alone out there, so I know people are listening. So thank you. And if you haven't noticed, it's hard for me to ask for that, can you tell? It's like I don't even know what to say. I'm like, oh my God, can you please send me a rating or review, please? Anything helps. So, yeah, I'm asking, I'm asking, I'm asking. So thank you, but let's get talking about prayer.

Speaker 1:

So this came up. I was recently doing a certification class with my mentor. I review this class once a year. It's for the body regeneration method, energy work that I do, and it's phenomenal. It's four days, five days, five days. It's five days long, and it's just an amazing group.

Speaker 1:

But one of the students in the class had brought up prayers and she had brought up the prayer books that our mentor had written, which are beautiful, and in that moment I was like, oh my gosh, I need to share some of these prayers on the podcast because they're so beautiful. And I feel that at this time in our world, this time in life, this time where we are all experiencing a lot of different emotions, we're watching a lot of different things unfold and sometimes it can feel unsettling or frustrating or scary, whatever it is, you know, and I feel that prayer is one of those things that, universally, you can always come back to, because the beauty of prayer is I pray daily, I love praying and, as I mentioned, it's universal. There's no way to do it, there's no right way, it can be done anywhere, with anyone, about anything you desire. There are no rules with prayer and you simply pray, you ask, and it is always given. God always responds, and that's the beauty of prayer. But I am going to add a little side note there. It may not always look the way you desire or come at the time that you wish. However, your prayers are always answered. They really are, and if you really sat down and looked back over the lifetimes of you know when you were praying or asking for something, it eventually came. It really did. So we do get everything we asked for Just doesn't always look the way you wanted it to and it doesn't always come in the timeframe.

Speaker 1:

But I want to actually pull up the definition of prayer. I went online Webster's Dictionary and a couple other spots to get the definition of prayer. It's a noun, as you may know. As you may know, it's a solemn request for help or expression of thanks addressed to God, or an object of worship or an address how about that? Such as petition to God or a God in word or thought, an earnest request or wish. So those are really the definitions of prayer and I really liked the last one because it's an earnest request or wish.

Speaker 1:

And what I hear when I hear earnest request or wish, because when I experienced prayer it's it's honestly, you can pray anywhere. Okay, you can be driving in your car and you can say a prayer in that moment. You can sit at your bed, or you can sit under a tree, or you can sit in your favorite chair, sit in your favorite spot. You can be sitting in the doctor's office and praying. Okay, it doesn't matter where you are anywhere, you can just either close your eyes if you want to you don't necessarily have to. You could put your focus on a plant, if you choose. Whatever room you're sitting, and you can just begin to pray in your mind. You can pray out loud, and it's this beautiful, earnest request or wish.

Speaker 1:

So I want to get into some of the benefits and, by the way, this episode is not going to be really long. It was really about me wanting to share some of these prayers and it's funny because right before I sat down to start doing the episode, I opened up the prayer book and well, first I closed it and then I closed my eyes and I asked God what are some of the most important prayers that I could share today? And it's really cool, the ones that popped up. So I'm going to do two of the three that popped up, because I feel that they're all great, but I think two is good. I really was just going to do one, but two is good. But let's first explore benefits of prayer.

Speaker 1:

With prayer, it really helps you develop a relationship to God as well as yourself. Now, I believe in God. There might be somebody on this show that doesn't believe in God. Okay, that's listening to the show that doesn't believe in God. And that doesn't mean you can't pray. You can still pray Because prayer it's about developing that deep sense of connection with self, to be in unification or oneness with your surroundings in that moment and allowing your frequency to really increase.

Speaker 1:

Prayers can provide answers. You know, how many people do you maybe know or you've heard about meditation? They'll meditate to find answers. You can find answers in prayer because prayer is a form of meditation as well. Prayer can provide you more direction and clarity in your life, especially when it begins to give you those answers. But it also allows you to align with God and God's loving nature. It really allows you to align into that frequency, into that space of love. Some other benefits is it can strengthen you. It can help you build confidence and courage, and prayer allows you to experience and feel more connected to your own personal truth and to God, and I think that's what it really does with me, is. It's when I'm, when I allow myself to just really get deep into that space of prayer, I truly feel connected into my truth. It's like I can feel and experience every cell in my body because it is a collective. It is a collective in there. Another very cool benefit of prayer and this also falls in line with meditation is prayer has been known and can lower blood pressure and stress. There are actual scientific studies out there that show that if you are praying on a continual basis and practicing that, you can lower your stress and you can lower your blood pressure. So those are just a few of the benefits that can be brought forward with prayer.

Speaker 1:

And, as I mentioned earlier, you know we are. Some people really feel we're in a time of despair. I don't feel that way about this time. I really don't. I feel that we are simply evolving. We are moving through a very thick collective consciousness that's ripping away from something that has been very negative into something that is going to be very positive.

Speaker 1:

And I'll say this again and I've said it on episodes previously it's like when you squeeze a zit right Remember those of us when we were in our teenage years and we had acne right and it starts to fester and it starts to grow and typically what a teen kid would do is I'm going to pop that sucker. And when you pop it, all this shit comes out right. Sometimes it hits the mirror. Remember those days? I know TMI, it's gross, but like for real, and when that happened the very first time you ever experienced that, it probably grossed you out and you were like ew, that just came out of my face. I like to see the world is that's where we're at. And then what would happen once that all came out? It would heal, right.

Speaker 1:

You put a little benzoyl peroxide or whatever. That shit was called Oxytocin. I don't even know, I'm dating myself, do. They seem to still make that stuff so funny Like? I remember having a bottle of that all the time in the medicine cabinet, you know, because you got to oxy your little zits because, god forbid, you go to the dance and you got a big zit on your face, right. So that's really how I see this time is that we're just popping this giant, massive zit and nobody knows where it's going to spray. It's just kind of like all over the place. But what we do know is that once you pop it, then the healing begins right.

Speaker 1:

But while we're in that time and while we're in that process, we can really go inward and pray, and that's something I do frequently, and I wanted to share some of these beautiful prayers with you today, and again, I wanna wish all of the mothers out there, whether you're mothers to children or mothers to pets, happy Mother's Day. Mothers to fish birds? I don't know. Mothers to friends' childrens, mothers to your kids at school? You know mothers like you know it doesn't necessarily mean you had a child, it's just that mothering, nurturing energy, it's like happy Mother's Day.

Speaker 1:

Okay, I wanted to share some of these prayers today, and so the book that I'm sharing these prayers from this is book two of three books that my mentor, reverend Tracy L Clark, has written, but she has two prayer books and then an autobiography. The two prayer books they're called 31 Days of Prayer. That's the first book. This book is called 31 Days of Prayer and Affirmations. All of them can be found on Amazon. Happy to throw a link down below. No, I do not make any proceeds from sharing this, but happy to direct you to where you can find it, because it's awesome and it would make a difference. And I tell you. I carry these prayer books around with me and even when I travel, because you just never know and you just want to open it up, and a lot of times I'll just open up to a random page and that will be the one that speaks to me the most. And that's what I did today. So I did that. So I did that and, funny enough, the two prayers that came up prayer for freedom and prayer to believe.

Speaker 1:

So we're going to start with a prayer for freedom. It's on page 39 of 31 days of prayer and affirmations, because there is an affirmation at the end. An affirmation at the end I forgive myself for all times and all experiences in my life where I have harmed another person. I release and let go of all energies of suppression, known and unknown. I command forth freedom on every level and in every layer. I speak freedom into my life now. I speak freedom into the world now. Freedom to choose, freedom to be a sovereign being, freedom to be a child of God. I command every cell and every fiber of my being that is now locked up in bondage to be freed. I order the energies of oppression to be discharged back to God to receive divine justice. Now I command freedom to fill my being at the cellular level, from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. I receive freedom. I believe in freedom. I am a free human and a child of God. As I step into freedom now, I sing my praises to you, god, and so it is. Thank you God, thank you God, thank you God, thank you God, thank you God. Affirmation I am for me, not against me. I live in freedom and victory. That's the first prayer. I love that prayer.

Speaker 1:

Freedom is something that I have really had to work to move past these constraints of the past, whether they were constraints of you know my own self-worth, whether it was constraints financially you know financial, like you know mental. What am I trying to think? Thought forms and mental blueprints that I had signed up for at some point in my life. It's freeing myself from all of that clutter and conversation in my brain that is not in my highest good and that is what I love about this. And what I love about this prayer is that first line is I forgive myself for all times and all experiences in my life where I have harmed another person, and that's including myself. And what I hear when I read that is, any thought like negative thought that I've had towards somebody else or a negative thought that I've had towards myself. I'm harming myself and I'm harming that person, and why. And so freeing ourselves from that, forgiving ourselves and having the right to free ourselves in that moment and to release and let go of all energies of suppression, known and unknown, I command forth freedom on every level and in every layer. I speak freedom into my life. Now I just love that. That's like the first, the first few lines of that. So that's a beautiful prayer, all right, so I'm going to follow up and finish up with this second one. I'm not going to go into the third one. This if you want these books, please check them out. They're amazing.

Speaker 1:

But this one is prayer to believe why I like I mean, obviously people would love to feel freedom in this moment. Right, with all the stuff we're going through is like really feeling freedom, really feeling expressed, not feeling stifled by anything, whether it's the headlines of the news that you're watching. I recently had a friend reach out to me and say I'm so sorry. I went MIA. I came across a headline in the news and it just shut me down. I mean, imagine the power of that. Imagine the power of that. If you imagine the power of a single headline that can shut you down, then where's the power in prayer? It's equal, if not more, and when you begin to pray you really raise that frequency. So that's why I wanted to share these today. Okay, second and last prayer today, y'all, and then I'm going to send you on your beautiful, merry, happy Mother's Day day Prayer to believe.

Speaker 1:

I believe to receive new levels of love. I believe to receive new levels of connection with the God of my understanding. I believe to receive new levels of financial overflow and wealth, thank you. And to receive love for myself on a new level and in a new layer of my being. I believe to receive unlimited possibilities. I believe to receive untold miracles. I believe to receive the understanding that I am limitless. I believe to receive all that spirit has for me. I am believing to receive guidance in my dreams and my visions, not in the way that I perceive with my natural eyes, but in the way the divine sees in the supernatural realm. I believe to receive supernatural gifts for the planet. I believe to receive peace on the planet. I believe to receive joy, love and laughter for the planet. I am believing to receive harmony, happiness and connection from Mother Earth and all of humanity now, and I am believing to receive faith. I shall have no more doubt. I refuse to go without. I choose to believe only to receive on every level and in every layer of my life.

Speaker 1:

Now, because this is how it is meant to be Affirmation, I tap into my limitless potential. I am worthy of receiving miracles and blessings. Those are powerful prayer to believe. So, yeah, like I love this one because it's you know. Yeah, like tapping into that supernatural realm, you know having unlimitless or having limitless, you know possibilities and limitless miracles, like untold miracles. Who doesn't want that in their life? And there's this beauty, you know, god does respond. The universe responds, asking you shall receive it really is true, y'all. The universe responds, asking you shall receive it. Really, it really is true, y'all, it really is true.

Speaker 1:

And yeah, it doesn't often come in your timeframe because it's in God's speed, right, and often it doesn't look the way you think it's going to look and sometimes you miss it. You miss it because it walked right by you, because you were so locked into the way it needed to be. But I want to remind you you always, always, always, get what you ask for. So be mindful, be powerful in this time, be courageous in this time. Ask for what you want, sit back, pray, be with yourself. You know, as I talk in all the past episodes about that illusion and creating the illusion that you desire, it's inside of prayer and affirmation work that you can really increase that frequency. And have you ever noticed when you sat down to do prayer or sat down to do affirmations and you just allow your body to relax into the frequency of the words and the power of the words? And if you tune into your body, you'll actually feel as if you're floating or just increased energy, right, you'll feel connected and one in that moment.

Speaker 1:

So today's episode was really me wanting to share some of those prayers. I feel they're powerful. I wanted to remind all of you that, yes, it is a very trying time in life right now, absolutely, and it may not be trying for you in your individual life, but when we look at it from a global perspective, we are all very much being tried with our patience, our love, our stress, all of it. And this is the time to continue to turn inward and to focus that love and attention on yourself. I keep saying that For those of you I have had some listeners reach out to me for healing sessions I want to say thank you.
